ANTIPYRETIC AND ANALGESIC CHEABLE TABLET AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an antipyretic and analgesic chewable tablet reduced in an unpleasant feeling such as bitterness or numbness accompanied at the time of chewing even when an antipyretic and analgesic agent, etc., having the bitterness and irritating properties are contained. SOLUTION: This antipyretic and analgesic chewable tablet is obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. of a medicine such as acetaminophen or ethenzamide having bitterness and irritating properties with >=1 pt.wt. of a water-insoluble compound such as light silicic acid anhydride, kneading the resultant mixture together with a solution containing a coating agent, further passing the kneaded mixture through each of a drying and a sieving steps, subsequently adding an excipient thereto and tableting the prepared mixture.
