GERMICIDAL DISINFECTANT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition reduced in irritation to the skin in use and remarkably improved in feeling after use while maintaining its excellent germicidal disinfectant power, by including a quaternary ammonium salt- based germicidal disinfectant or biguanide-based germicidal disinfectant. SOLUTION: This germicidal disinfectant composition is obtained by formulating 0.01-2 wt.% of a polyalkylene glycol or a derivative of an alkylene glycol each having a coagulation point of >=35 deg.C in a lower alcohol solution of a quatentary ammonium salt-based germicidal disinfectant or a biguanide-based germicidal disinfectant. This composition is desirable to be adjusted to pH 4 to 8 using a carboxylic acid or a salt thereof.
