PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift for maintaining vehicles in accordance with passenger cars and all vehicles having frame structure other than the passenger cars, by one set lift device. SOLUTION: In a lift for maintaining vehicles where right and left runways 1 and 1' for placeably supporting vehicles are made elevatingly free in a horizontal condition intact by elevating drive devices 2 and 2', and plate type free wheel lift devices 3 and 3' are equipped on nearly the center part in the lengthwise direction of the runways 1 and 1'; swing arms 4 and 4' turning on the plate of a free wheel lift are arranged in a free wheel lift device.
