PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the temperature rise of a motor by mounting a means for operating the root mean square of the torque command of the motor, restricting the start by a predetermine time in the starting when the root mean square is more than a predetermined first set value, and delaying the opening of a door by a predetermined time at the arrival. SOLUTION: A root mean square operating means 6 is mounted for executing the root mean square of a torque command signal obtained from a torque command means 4. The root mean square operating means 6 operates the root mean square of the torque command and outputs the same. The root mean square and a first set amount of the root mean square are compared by a judging means 8. When the root mean square is over the first set amount, the start is restricted by a predetermined time after a door of an elevator is closed, and the opening of a door is delayed by a predetermined time at the arrival. Whereby the starting frequency of the elevator can be restricted, and the temperature rise of a motor and a power converter can be reduced. |
