PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the liquid leakage at the usual brake time, in a hydraulic brake system including a hydraulic brake in which the brake is exerted by a hydraulic pressure. SOLUTION: When a liquid leakage is detected (S11), a liquid leakage is controlled and restrained at the usual operation time (S14), when an operation liquid stays in a reservoir (S13). As the brake hydraulic pressure is made lower than the required hydraulic pressure intended by a driver and the hydraulic pressure applied to a liquid leak place is lowered and the liquid leakage is restrained. The hydraulic fluid in the reservoir can be kept for a long time. When the brake is in the usual operation state and the liquid leakage is detected, the liquid leakage is controlled and restrained.
