<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the adsorption performance of a carbonaceous adsorbent at the inside of an adsorption device and to change operation conditions in accordance with the adsorption performance. SOLUTION: In the device in which the carbonaceous adsorbent such as activated carbon is circulated among the adsorption device 1, a desorption device 2 and a separation device 3 to adsorb and remove the pollutant in waste gas, a control device 5 controls flow rate regulating valves 6-8, estimates the cycle number distribution of the carbonaceous adsorbent in a circulation passage by receiving the input signal of a mass flowmeter 9, estimates the adsorption performance from the cycle number distribution and changes the operation conditions in accordance with the estimated adsorption performance.</p> |
