<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with troublesome installation and adjustment of a sensor for detecting deceleration and to surely avoid the fear of after fire that is generated by leading of fuel into an exhaust pipe without being burned in the operation of an engine brake after the release of the engine brake. SOLUTION: This engine brake device has a deceleration device (a variable geometry turbocharger 2, a compression pressure open type engine brake and an exhaust brake) for increasing engine brake effect to obtain brake force, a non-objection sensor 16 for detecting a stop of fuel injection to an engine 1, and a controller 17 operating the deceleration device, when the non-injection sensor 16 confirms the stop of the fuel injection.</p> |
