PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking-off device capable of automatically-processing an article including marking-off by means of an NC finishing machine for reduction in a burden on an operator and improvement in the efficiency of marking- off operation. SOLUTION: This marking-off device is provided with a surface plate on which an article to be marked-off is mounted, a spindle disposed so as to be movable to the surface plate for NC control, and a writing material holder 5 attachably/detachably-mounted on the spindle. The writing material holder 5 involves a part 51 to be attached/detached to/from the spindle, a retaining part 52 supporting a writing material, and an elastic body 59 movably-supporting the writing material 53 to the retaining part 52 axially. The front end of the writing material 53 is slidably-supported to the retaining part 52 by a guide plate 56. The base of the writing material 53 is slidably-retained to the retaining part 52 by a fixing screw 55 inserted into a guide groove 54 in the retaining part 52.
