PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a maintenance and inspection property to a motor, to suppress the enlargement in a depth direction of an outer box and to reduce thermal effects to the motor by a heating means while reducing vibration and reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: A water tank 3 is provided inside an outer box 1 and a heating device 22 for heating water in the inside is provided on the outer bottom part of the water tank 3. A drum 10 is provided around an almost horizontal axis inside the water tank 3 and a washing machine motor 17 for directly rotationally driving the drum 19 is provided on the rear surface part of the water tank 3. An opening part 23 larger than the outer shape of the washing machine motor 17 is formed at the rear plate part 1a of the outer box 1 and a lid 24 is provided so as to close the opening part. A projection part 25 expanded to a rear part is formed at the lid 24 and a hole part 26 for communicating the inside and outside is formed at the lower part of the projection part 25.
