PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly operable ultrasonic diagnostic device allowing an operator to use it without passing it from one hand to the other, capable of displaying a two-dimensional image and a three-dimensional image simultaneously so that internal data such as about organs, blood vessels, etc., of a subject can be clearly grasped. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic device has a probe 1 in which plural ultrasonic resonators are disposed two-dimensionally, adjacent to the opening. The ultrasonic diagnostic device transmits ultrasonic waves to a subject by driving the probe 1 and recomposes an ultrasonic image based on the received ultrasonic signal. The ultrasonic diagnostic device also has a transmitting/ receiving changing switch 24 and an element changing switch 25 to change an arbitrary range of the two-dimensionally disposed ultrasonic resonators in the probe 1 for recomposing both two-dimensional and three-dimensional images or for recomposing either one of them.
