发明名称 MAINTENANCE MECHANISM FOR INK JET HEAD
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a maintenance mechanism for ink jet head in which ink flow in the channel is improved at both central part and end part of a head by varying the ink suction force for the channels at different parts of the head and bubbles or bad ink can be removed entirely from the inside of the head. SOLUTION: A suction cap 20 is provided with three suction openings 45 and open/close operation of valves 51, 52, 53 for the interconnecting passages 46 of each suction openings 45 is controlled to use three suction openings 45 for sucking ink in the initial ink introduction stage but two suction openings 45 at the opposite ends are used for periodic purging of ink. According to the mechanism, all channels can be filled appropriately with ink in the initial ink introduction stage and bubbles can be removed efficiently from the channel close to the head end part where bubbles stand easily when the ink is purged periodically.
