PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize most of kinetic energy as a lift and thrust, by opening a tunnel-shaped recessed part extended in an axial direction to a tilt direction of almost a ship bottom or water surface direction so that a sprung up spray can be caught. SOLUTION: A tunnel-shaped recessed part 13 extended in an axial direction of a sponson 11 is opened toward almost a ship bottom surface 3a or a water surface direction so that a spray S sprung up diagonally along the ship bottom surface 3a can be efficiently caught. A step part is formed as a wall damming up partly a spray of reverse flow to the forward without flowing in the rearward of the spray S flowing in the tunnel-shaped recessed part 13 in the vicinity of the end of a front streamline shape, also the tunnel-shaped recessed part 13 is opened to be left as it is to the stern rearward in the rear end of the sponson 11. In this way, the spray S sprung up along the ship bottom surface 3a can be caught by the tunnel-shaped recessed part 13, so as to make the spray S flow rearward along the tunnel-shaped recessed part 13, the spray S can be released rearward from the rear end of the sponson 11.
