PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine in which the display contents of a variable display device can be made complicate without increasing a burden to a game control means. SOLUTION: A game control means for controlling the game state of a game machine sends a command concerning the display of a variable display device to a variable display control means for controlling to introduce and display a display result obtained after the variable display device variably displays. When a li-zhi(reach) state is generated, the variable display control means controls the variable display device to display a message as shown in Fig. (c). Further, the variable display control means can change the message to be displayed in accordance with the number of times of generating great hits. The variable display control means stores the number of times of commands sent from the game control means for controlling the variable display device to display the generation of great hit states. Thus, the number of times of generation of the great hit states can be stored.
