PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure for rotation transmission from a motor to a rotary tub and an agitation body and to improve the operation reliability of the changeover. SOLUTION: An agitation shaft 27 for rotating the agitating body is provided inside a hollow tub shaft 24 for rotating the rotary tub and the lower end part of the agitation shaft 27 is connected to the boss part 36 of a rotor 31. A serration part 42 and a serration part 43 are respectively provided on the lower end outer peripheral part of the tub shaft 24 and the upper end outer peripheral part of the boss part 36. A clutch 37 in a cylindrical shape of which the inner peripheral part is provided with an upper inner serration part 40 and a lower inner serration part 41 to be engaged with the insertion part 42 and 43 respectively for connecting and disconnecting the tub shaft 24 and the boss part 36 is freely vertically movably provided. An elevating and lowering mechanism for vertically moving the clutch 37 and a rotation-together prevention device 39 are provided. A clutch position detection means 61 is constituted of a permanent magnet 62 provided on the clutch 37 and a magnetic sensor 63 provided on the rotation-together prevention device 39. The engaging pitch of the clutch 37 and a rotation-together prevention part 46 is set to be the double of the pole pair number of the permanent magnet 62.
