TANK AND ITS CONSTRUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a tank easily and at a low cost. SOLUTION: A tank 11 is composed of a cylindrical type tank main body 12 set in a horizontal direction and lids 13 provided at both ends of the tank main body 12. The tank main body 12 is composed of box-shaped elongated elements 21, each of whose sides is mutually welded to the side of the adjacent element to be assembled into a cylindrical type and each of which has a reinforcing bar 53 disposed therein, and concrete C filled into each of the elements 21. Welding portions of the elements 21 on the inner face side of the tank main body 12 are automatically welded in a longitudinal direction by an automatic welder provided in a runnable manner on rails supported along the welding portions on the inner face sides of the elements 21.
