WINDING METHOD FOR FALSE TWISTED YARN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method for obtaining excellent false twisted yarn without cob-webbing and a dyeing speck generated at the time of winding false twisted yarn. SOLUTION: In an end face collapsing method for intermittently reducing a traverse width when false twisted yarn is wound on a package, a rate of change is increased before a shortest width and is reduced up to a position of the shortest width when the traverse width is changed from a longest width to the shortest width in one cycle changing the traverse width. When the traverse width is changed to a position of a longest part from a shortest part, winding is performed by increasing the rate of change before the longest width and reducing the rate up to a position of the longest width.
