PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject tablet capable of readily dispersing in water and producing a dispersion system drinkable by a patient by including a specific amount of aciclovir and a swellable clay in an amount effective in providing a tablet capable of producing the objective dispersion system. SOLUTION: This tablet is obtained by including (A) 50-95 (wt./wt.)%, preferably 60-95 (wt./wt.)% of aciclovir and (B) 0.25-40 (wt./wt.)%, preferably 1-40 (wt./wt.)%, more preferably 5-10 (wt./wt.)% of a swellable clay present in a tablet granule in an amount effective in providing the tablet capable of dispersing in water within 3 min and producing a dispersion system capable of passing through a sieve having 710μm sieve opening according to a disersibility tablet testing method [smectite or attapulgite and the smectite is preferably selected from the montmorillonite group (e.g. sauconite, vermiculite, bentonite, hectorite or magnesium aluminum silicate)]. |
