PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan capable of easily mounting sensors such as a temperature sensor and the like thereto, and of enhancing installation operating performance. SOLUTION: In an electric fan equipped with a base 1, a stand 2 erected over the base 1, a fan head part supported by the stand, and provided with a driving electric motor, and with a detecting sensor 33 detecting a surrounding condition, and capable of controlling the output of the aforesaid electric motor in response to the output of the detection sensor 33, an opening part 22 is formed in the stand, and an enclosing member 24 having a ventilating hole 25, to be mounted thereto by means of engaging pawls 26 formed face-to-face, is provided for the opening part 22, and a holder 27 having a holding part 30 holding the detection sensor 33 is interposed between the engaging pawls 26 while approaching both the engaging pawls 26, or abutting the holder against the pawls. |
