PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal extrusion method capable of regulating the metal structure of an extruded article as desired in the extrusion of a metal by a rotary wheel system. SOLUTION: In the rotary wheel type extrusion method, a metal 7 is pulled by the rotation of a rotary wheel 1 into a passage 4 formed by a groove part 2 on the outer circumferential of the rotary wheel 1 and a shoe block 3 to cover the groove part 2 of the specified arc length of the rotary wheel 1, and fed to the end of the passage 4, and formed and extruded into a formed body 8 of the specified shape by a die 6. A heat treatment device 9 is provided in the extrusion line from the die 6, and the metal structure of the formed body 8 is regulated by achieving the heat treatment to the extruded formed body 8.
