PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally reversible thickening binder composition exhibiting broad temperature-sensitive thickening behavior. SOLUTION: In this thermally reversible thickening binder composition comprising (A) a resin latex and (B) a thermally reversible thickening agent which exhibits a reversible change from hydrophilic to lipophilic and vice versa at a certain temperature, the binder (B) comprises (B1) a thermally reversible thickening agent which exhibits a reversible change from hydrophilic to lipophilic and vice versa at a certain temperature T1 and (B2) a thermally reversible thickening agent which exhibits a reversible change from hydrophilic to lipophilic and vice versa at a temperature T2, higher than T1 by at least 5 deg.C.
