NOx PURIFICATION TYPE ROAD SOUND INSULATION WALL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road sound insulation wall having high NOx purification ability. SOLUTION: This road sound insulation wall is constituted in such a way that a sound absorbing material 2 is provided between a surface plate 1 in which many holes are formed and a sound insulation plate 3 arranged on its back side. Many holes 8 are formed in the sound insulation plate 3 to form the ventilating sound insulation plate 3, a ventilating material is used as the sound absorbing material 2, a rear surface plate 4 in which many holes are formed is provided on a back side of the sound insulation plate 3, and photocatalyst coating 6 having NOx removing performance is applied on a surface of the surface plate 1 and an outer face of the rear surface plate 4. Consequently, the air having high NOx concentration moves onto a rear surface of the road sound insulation wall so that NOx can be efficiently removed on both faces of the road sound insulation wall.
