PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high performance photocatalytic unit capable of effectively utilizing the whole of laminated plural plate like catalytic bodies. SOLUTION: The photocatalytic unit is formed by laminating plural plate like photocatalytic bodies with a certain space and for decomposing a harmful component in a fluid flowing in the space by irradiating the space with light 5 and the plate like photocatalytic body has a photocatalytic region 2, where the photocatalyst is carried, and a light reflection region 1, which is composed of a metallic surface, to scatter respectively on the front surface and the back surface. Then the incident light 5 to the space advances to the depth of the space while being reflected in the light reflection region 2 to activate the photocatalyst through the whole region. |
