PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating electric razor with soft touch to the skin when in use by selecting the form of a blade head optimum for how to shave in a user. SOLUTION: This razor has three blade heads capable of respectively independently and freely floating, the central blade head is used as a slit blade head 3 for rough shaving and both outside blade heads 2 are used as net blade heads 4 for finish shaving. Concerning such a reciprocating electric razor, a slit blade cassette 5 is freely attachable and detachable and a closing means 6 is provided for closing a gap between both the outside net blade heads 4 and 4 when the slit blade cassette 5 is detached.
