PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner, which is easy to carry in a vertically housing attitude by fixing a connecting tube to a vacuum cleaner main body by simple operation, and its connector. SOLUTION: The connector 600 is detachably attached to a suction hose attaching part 101 formed at the tip of the vacuum cleaner main body 100 capable of forming a horizontally long traveling attitude and a vertically long housing attitude via moving wheels 102. A suction hose 200 is attached through the connector 600 and the connecting pipe 400 is attached to the upper surface of the main body 100 so as to carry on its back via the connector 600. In addition, a handle part 660 is fixed on the connector 600.
