PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of three works of pressing dirty matters, supplying detergent and washing by providing a hole whose inner peripheral surface is recessed and projects nearly in the center of a washing tool body and engaging the hole with the shape of the mouth part closing wall of a detergent container so as to closely fit in order to simultaneously make the three works done by both of one's hand. SOLUTION: The inner diameter of the hole 2 of a washing tool body 1 made of a soft and foamed material such as sponge is equal to the outer diameter of a container mouth part B and the recessed/projecting shape 3 at the inner surface of the hole 2 is formed so as to fit the cross section of the outer peripheral shape of the part B, namely the shape 3 is a star when the shape of the cross section is a star. Thus, the mouth part B of a detergent container A is fitted to the hole 2 of the body 1. After then, at the time of pressing the body 1 to the dirty matter such as a plate holding the container A while fixing the dirty matter such as a plate with one hand and strongly grasping the container A at the same time, detergent overflows from the part B and washing operation can be executed while supplying detergent by a required quantity.
