PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a molding which is freed from blisters because foaming can be inhibited during mixing and molding, which process comprises compounding a desiccant having a specified or higher moisture absorption rate with a thermoplastic resin, compounding the resulting mixture with aluminum hydroxide and a thermoplastic resin, and molding the final mixture. SOLUTION: This process comprises step 1 of kneading 100-300 pts.wt. desiccant having a moisture absorption rate of at least 3 wt.%/hr with 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene at 130-200 deg.C to form a mixture and step 2 of compounding the mixture with aluminum hydroxide having a mean particle diameter of 0.5-100μm and used in such an amount that the aluminum content of the molding to be formed may be suitable for the use of the molding and may fall within the range of 1-90 wt.% and a thermoplastic resin and subjecting the resultant mixture to kneading and molding. It is also possible that 100-500 pts.wt. aluminum hydroxide is previously kneaded with 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin to form a masterbatch, and the masterbatch is added to the mixture. The desiccant used is selected from among phosphorus pentoxide, anhydrous calcium sulfate, magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, or the like.
