PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backrest frame of a seat for automobiles, which can reduce the number of welded spots and components, and can improve assemblability. SOLUTION: This backrest frame of a seat for automobiles comprises a pair of left and right sides 3 and 3 having a prescribed width and being supported by a reclining assembly, an upper part 4 having a prescribed width and connecting the upper parts of this pair of sides 3 and 3, a lower part 5 connecting the lower parts of the sides 3 and 3, a bottom plate 6 made by bending the sides 3 and 3, the upper part 4, and the lower part 5, and a foldback 8 that is made by folding back at least, the edges of the other sides of the pair of sides 3 and 3, and the upper part 4. Then, the whole frame is formed by pressing a form back template and a reinforcement measures 10 is installed to an installation position of the reclining assembly on the pair of left and right sides 3 and 3.
