PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep retroreflection efficiency high in rainy weather by providing a base material, a plurality of lug portions provided on the surface of the base material and transparent fine balls fixed to the surface of the base material between adjacent lug portions and having a refraction factor of a specific value or above. SOLUTION: Transparent fine balls 4 are scattered and fixed on one face of a deformably heated base material 1. Transparent fine balls 3 having a refraction factor of 2.0 or above are stuck on the face of a molding die 7 having penetrated opening sections 8 and on the inner walls of the opening sections 8. The molding die 7 is pressed to a base material 1, part of the base material 1 intrudes the opening sections 8, lug portions 2 are molded integrally with the base material 1, and the transparent fine balls 3 are transferred to the surface of the base material 1 from the surface of the molding die 7. The transparent fine balls 4 on part of the surface of the base material 1 are held on apexes of the formed lug portions 2. The base material 1 is cooled, and the molding die 7 is removed from the base material 1 to obtain a road surface marker 10 which is not reduced with its retroreflection coefficient in rainy weather and is not broken for a long period. |
