摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated guided vehicle which can be reduced in size and stabilized by avoiding multiple rotation of a swiveling drive mechanism. SOLUTION: This automated guided vehicle has a swiveling part 103 which can freely swivel about a swiveling spindle 102 being perpendicular to a traveling surface, an arm part 105 which is connected to the swiveling part 103 and can freely swivel about a spindle being horizontal with the traveling surface, axles 106, 107 which are symmetrically placed at both ends of the arm part 105 with spacing at a specified interval from the swiveling spindle 102 and are horizontal with the traveling surface, two wheels 108, 109 which cooperatively swivel with the axles 106, 107, respectively, a swiveling drive means 113 for driving the swiveling part 103, an arm drive means 112, and a wheel drive means 110 for cooperatively driving two wheels 108, 109. The swiveling drive means 113 transmits power from a motor secured on the swiveling part 103 to a vehicular body through a spur gear 115, and the arm drive means 112 transmits power from a motor secured on the arm part 105 to the arm part 105, and the wheel drive means 110 has at least one swiveling drive mechanism to transmit power from the motor secured on the arm part 105 to each of two wheels.</p>
