PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint plate for rail capable of preventing shearing destruction generated between a mat layer and a roving layer and preventing stress concentration generated in an end part of the mat layer. SOLUTION: This joint plate for rail 1 is arranged between end side faces of adjacent rails across them and is formed by thermosetting resin reinforced by fibers which is tightened and fixed on a rail by a bolt. This joint plate for rail 1 has an upper inclined face 3 abutting on a head part of the rail along the lower face and a lower inclined face 4 abutting on a basic part of the rail along the upper face and comes into contact with the rail only through the upper inclined face 3 and the lower inclined face 4. It is formed by a mat layer 1a and a roving layer 1b, and the mat layer 1a has a part in which a plurality of layers are accumulated so that it becomes perpendicular to compression force to be applied on the upper face inclined face 3 which is a contact face in contact with the rail of the joint plate. |
