PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of joining work by arranging joining tapes heat-extruded by an impervious sheet joining machine in two lines on the joining margin of one impervious sheet, overlapping another impervious sheet on it, and rolling them. SOLUTION: When an impervious sheet 1a and an impervious sheet 1b are to be joined together, the impervious sheet 1a and the impervious sheet 1b are arranged at the prescribed position so that joining margins 4 are overlapped, vulcanizable joining tapes 5a, 5b are heat-extruded by the extruding machine 6 of an impervious sheet faying machine in two lines and are arranged on the joining margin 4 at the end section of the impervious sheet 1a in two lines at an interval, the joining margin 4 of the impervious sheet 1b is mounted on the joining tapes 5a, 5b, and they are rolled from above. As time elapses, cross-linking between the impervious sheets 1a, 1b and the joining tapes 5a, 5b progresses into firm joining. Large adhesive strength can be obtained from nearly the initial stage, and the joining work can be conducted very easily.
