PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically check the opening and closing of a door by executing the door opening and closing motion by moving a car to a predetermined floor, judging the door opening and closing abnormality of the floor when a time necessary for the door opening and closing motion is above a predetermined set time, and comprising a starting means for executing a test means on a predetermined date. SOLUTION: A test means consists of a memory 11b, an automatic test operation program stored in the memory 11b and a CPU 11a, a car 1 is moved to a predetermined floor by this test means, the door opening and closing motion is executed by a door opening and closing controller 3, and the door opening and closing abnormality of the floor is judged when a time necessary for the door opening and closing motion is above a predetermined set time. A starting means consists of an in-panel clock 11c, and the data on set date and the starting program in the memory 11b, and the CPU 11a executes the automatic test operating program on the predetermined date. According to this construction, the opening and closing of the door is automatically executed on each floor in the predetermined time zone to judge the abnormality in the opening and closing of the door.
