PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove loosening a winding rope. SOLUTION: In a container crane for suspending a spreader 14 for gripping a container from a winding rope 12 wound on a winding drum 15, a control sensor 20 for detecting the looseness of the rope 12 is provided on the lower side part of the rope 12, to inversely rotate the drum 15 by a signal generated by the sensor 20, to rewind the looseness quantity of the rope 12.
