PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly draw out an inner movable shelf from a hanging cabinet and to reduce the push-up force required in putting back the inner movable shelf into the hanging cabinet. SOLUTION: This lift-type cabinet 10 consists of a hanging cabinet 12, an inner movable shelf 13 stored and held inside the hanging cabinet 12, and a support means 14 mounted between the hanging cabinet 12 and the inner movable shelf 13 by which the inner movable shelf 13 can be taken in/out to/from the hanging cabinet 12. The inner movable shelf 13 is a double-divided structure consisting of a first and second inner movable shelves 23, 24 which are of the same box shape, provided with a relative moving mechanism 26 mounted between the shelves for making them relatively movable to each other. The relative moving mechanism 26 makes one of inner movable shelves 13 relatively move in the opposite direction when the other shelf moves up/down, and the push-up force required for putting back the inner movable shelves 23, 24 can be reduced by the balancer effect of the relative moving mechanism 26 at the time.
