PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for powder and particle that can enhance the space efficiency and operating rate of a metering system, facilitate administration of residue for every batch, and cope with a wide variety of metering without a fear of mixing foreign matter, without producing waste. SOLUTION: This container includes a closed vessel 15 for housing powder and particle, a discharge port 2 made at the bottom of the closed vessel 15, a metering means 12 for metering the weight of powder and particle discharged from the discharge port 2, and a control means 13 for controlling the open and close of the discharge port 2 on the basis of a metered value of the metering means 12.
