PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gimbal mechanism for laser marking device, capable of downsizing the gimbal mechanism itself and the whole marking device. SOLUTION: This gimbal mechanism is provided with a laser unit holder 14 oscillatably-supported by the gimbal mechanism 1, and a laser unit mounted on the laser unit holder 14, and involves a first shaft 231 which has a gimbal ring 21 and a gimbal block 22, disposes the laser unit holder 14 and the gimbal block 22 in the gimbal ring 21, passes through the laser unit holder 14 with a clearance left, and oscillatably-connects the gimbal block 22 to the gimbal ring 21, and a second shaft 241 which is orthogonal to the first shaft and oscillatably-connects the laser unit holder 14 to the gimbal block 22.
