PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure steam sterilizing device for infectious medical waste which is capable of sterilizing the wastes which are discharged from a hospital, etc., and specially controlled wastes (infectious medical wastes) with high-pressure steam, and reducing their volume. SOLUTION: The high-pressure steam sterilizing device comprises a crushing machine 2 to crush wastes A such as infectious medical wastes, and autoclave 5 in which the crushed wastes A are stayed at least for 20 minutes at the temperature of at least 121 deg.C under the specified pressure for sterilization, and a chemical spraying device 7 to spray a sterilizing chemical at least into the pulverizing machine 2. |
