PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub that allows on easy access of senior persons and physically handicapped persons, and easy countermeasures agains coldness. SOLUTION: A bathtub comprises a bathtub body 1 having a rim part 2, an apron 6 to cover the front side of the bathtub body, a doorway passage 5 in which the bathtub body and the front side of the apron are partly notched to the specified depth, a freely opening/closing door 8 provided in this doorway passage, and a shower device 7 provided on a part of an upper edge of the bathtub body, and hot water is sprayed during the waiting time for hot water supply to the bathtub body. |
