PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a honeycomb structure which is suitable for mass-production and has a small partition thickness by improving moldability, particularly, during extrusion molding. SOLUTION: Two - six wt.% reversible thermal gelation property binder are added to a batch of cordierite-making raw material. The reversible thermal gelation property binder comprises a binder 1 having 5,000 cP or less at 2% water solution viscosity (20 deg.C) and a binder 2 having 20,000 cP or more at 2% water solution viscosity (20 deg.C). That is, the blending ratio (weight ratio) of the binder 1/the binder 2 is set within the range of 10/90-50/50. |
