PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool machining with a cutting tool and a laser beam without requiring complicated change operation with a simple design structure. SOLUTION: This machine tool is provided with a machining unit 9 including a motor-driven machining spindle 10 for machining a workpiece with a cutting tool, a laser beam source 17 including beam guide devices 18, 19, 20 for machining a workpiece with a laser beam, and a work table 14 moved by a motor for clamping at least one workpiece, and machines the workpiece with the cutting tool and the laser beam. The beam guide devices 18, 19, 20 are provided such that the beam guide devices can be displaced with respect to the machining spindle 10 on the machining unit 9.
