PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opposed pneumatic forming method and device therefor having the improvement of a forming limit and the improvement effect of shape precision, further whose process and working are simple and capable of reducing a forming time. SOLUTION: A plate stock W is arranged on the dome the inside of which is formed into an air chamber, the periphery of the plate stock W is held by a holder 6 having compressed air nozzle holes 500, 500' so as to allow the flow, a punch is advanced to pus the plate stock W into compressed air while supplying the compressed air into the dome, and whereby forming by drawing is executed while exerting a opposed pneumatic pressure.
