PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof balcony for a building, which is large in space, brings about a feeling of release, and allows sufficient daylighting into an attic. SOLUTION: There is provided a roof balcony 1 which is arranged in an opening 16A of a sloped roof surface 16 of a building and communicates with an attic formed under the sloped roof 16. A balcony floor 2 of the roof balcony 1 has its one end positioned on the side of an attic space and the other end protrude from the surface of the sloped roof 16 in a horizontally external direction. Thus, even if the roof balcony is arranged in the opening of the sloped roof, it can have a wide floor space and brings about a feeling of release. Further, daylight can be let in from the roof balcony, which allows sufficient daylighting into the attic space.
