PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a difference in steps on a water bottom while increasing trash removing performance. SOLUTION: Trash is caught by a screen 12, and the trash is scraped up and removed by a rake 16 turning and moving peripherally in the vertical direction. The rake 16 consists of a rake frame 30 moving along a guide part 47 and a rake main body 34 supported on the rake frame 30. The rake main body 34 can oscillate to a rise attitude in which its surface is substantially orthogonal to a direction of advance and a flat and turn-down attitude in which it is inclined for the direction of advance. A cam 38 and a guide member 80 are provided in the rake main body 34 and in a lower end part of the screen 12, respectively, and when the rake 16 passes the lower end part of the screen 12, the cam 38 slides and rotates for the guide member 80, thereby holding the rake main body 34 at the flat and turn-down attitude.
