PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure smooth truing-up of side edge of sheets in a simple structure. SOLUTION: This device includes an oscillation stopper member 46 for temporarily holding stimulable phosphor sheets at their ends in the carrying direction, positioning plates 48a, 48b disposed on the side of a side edge truing-up reference P1 of the stimulable phosphor sheets 20, a sliding member 50 movable back and forth to the side of the side edge truing-up reference P1, push-in plates 52a, 52b provided on the sliding member 50 for pushing the stimulable phosphor sheets into the side of the side edge truing-up reference P1 and a driving means 54 provided on the sliding member 50 for oscillating the oscillation stopper member 46 on a carrying passage.
