PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimming press capable of easily and inexpensively manufacturing a supporting means for a formed part. SOLUTION: A trimming press consisting of an upper die 7 and a lower die 8 having cutting blades 3, 4 for removing by shearing the unnecessary part 2 of a formed part 1 made of a plate stock is composed in such a manner that an abutting plate 10 for pressurizing and holding the peripheral part of the cutting line of the formed part between the base 6 of the other side of cutting blade 4 and the abutting plate is provided in the position adjacent to either one side of cutting blade 3 of the upper die or lower die via an elastic member 9 deformable by compressing by a thickness corresponding to a cutting stroke. Thus, the periphery of the cutting line is pressurized by the abutting plate via the elastic member.
