PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prostate-treating apparatus which treats a prostate disease with an easier operation while reducing a burden on a patient by puncturing with a treating device a desired site of a prostate tissue over the entire area of the prostate. SOLUTION: In a prostate treating apparatus which treats a prostate disease by inserting an inserting part 2 of a probe 1 into a urethra, a microwave radiation probe 6 is provided freely sinking from the probe 1. Moreover, an ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving part 8 for ultrasonic observation with the direction of observation turned almost sideways is provided near the tip of the probe, and the probe 1 is held at a desired position within the urethra by a balloon 9. |
