PURPOSE:To enhance safety at the time of emergency by stopping the movement of towing tractor through a control section upon detection of release of parking brake, absence of worker, and movement of towing tractor. CONSTITUTION:When a worker releases a parking brake 6 and leaves a seat 7 in order to couple a towing tractor with a trailer, limit switches 10, 11 are turned OFF. When the towing tractor begins to move on an inclining pavement, for example, a travel motor 13 interlocked with a tire 14 begins to rotate. The rotation is detected through a rotation sensor 15 and a controller 12 delivers a brake command to the travel motor 13 based on a detection signal. Consequently, brake is applied on the travel motor 13 and the towing tractor is stopped. According to the constitution, the tractor is prevented from moving before the inching switches 17, 18 are operated after the worker has released the parking brake 6 and left the cabin. |
