PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a veil-holding tool which can improve durability and handling convenience. SOLUTION: This veil-holding tool has a groove comprising a reverse T-shaped groove 5, a press piece 6, and slip-off stoppers 7 disposed at both the front and rear portions of the reverse T-shaped groove 5. The press piece 6 comprises a base disk 8 which is guided in the lower wide groove 4 of the reverse T-shaped groove 5, a shaft portion 11 which is formed on the base disk 8 and has a releasing circumferential portion 9 and a pressing circumferential portion 10, a handle lever 13 integrally joined to the upper end of the shaft portion on an axial line passing through the axis of the shaft portion along the short diameter, a longitudinal groove 14 formed from the bottom surface of the base disk to the shaft portion in the short diameter direction, and an elastomer member 15 buried in the longitudinal groove. The releasing circumferential portion 9 is formed on the base disk, and has a shorter diameter than the width of the upper small width groove 3 of the reverse T-shaped groove. The pressing circumferential portion 10 has a longer diameter than the width of the small width groove.
