PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display member for a lid of an underground structure consisting of one display member and capable of reducing cost and inserting a leg part into a hole of the lid smoothly. SOLUTION: A display member for a lid of an underground structure is made of a flexible material and consists of a display panel 6 for signs and a leg part 7 which has four slits 10 which are provided at the center on a lower face of the display panel 6 for signs, are cylindrical, and are directed upward from a lower end and in which faces forming both sides of all the slits 10 are parallel mutually, an outside diameter of an intermediate part of a split piece divided by the slit 10 is swollen, outside diameters of a swollen part of two middle split pieces nipped by parallel faces are larger than outside diameters of the swollen part of the split pieces on both sides, upper faces of all the swollen parts 11 form an engaging face with a lower face edge part of a hole of the lid of the underground structure, and an inclined face whose diameter is shrunk downward from a ridge line of the swollen part 11 is formed. The leg part 7 can be inserted and connected in the hole provided in the lid of the underground structure.
