PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the inclination of a load frame by mounting a driving pulley and a floating pulley provided with the moving direction and the driving force by co-operatably acting on a stringing on the load frame in a state that they are suspended from the stringing, and providing the load frame with wheels. SOLUTION: A carrying device 1 comprises a load frame 2 for loading, a driving pulley 4 and a floating pulley 5 are mounted on the load frame 2 in a suspended state from the stringing 3 stretched on the ground, and the load frame 2 is provided with wheels 6. When the tension is applied to the stringing 3 by tensing a hoist, and the driving pulley 4 is driven, the carrying device 1 is moved while tracing the stringing 3 by the frictional force therebetween. On this occasion, a height of the stringing 3 is higher than that of the floating pulley 5, so that the carrying device 1 itself moves in a semi- suspended state according to the tension. On this occasion, the wheels 6 act as the grounding members when the carrying device 1 is vertically oscillated, whereby the traveling resistance can be reduced, and the inclination of the load frame 2 can be prevented.
